Each time I hit ie. I get an error message which says "..... windows will shut down" I recently had the processor and hard drive changed, and I'm running Windows 98. Any help out there?

Have you tried repairing IE. Go to control panel/add/remove and double click on Microsoft IE (not in the installed windows components) You should get the option to repair it.

I can't find Microsoft ie in my control panel/add/remove. Could it be elsewhere or is there any other option to use?

I found "ie repair" and sorted out that problem, however Now my MS Office has disappeared. could there be a connection?
