IE7 won't close down
I notice there are similar threads on this subject, but mine is rather different so I have opened a new thread - hope that is ok. I have installed IE7 on my desktop and laptop. All works well on the desktop, but not on the laptop. There are no problems opening or accessing any sites via IE7, but when I want to close down IE7 there is a pause before I get the message "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close down" with the usual option to send a report to Microsoft. For the time being I have gone back to IE6 which works fine.
So far I have run 2-3 spyware programs, but despite the fact they have revealed a couple of minor issues the problem remains. I have Win XP Pro as my OS and BT Yahoo Broadband (wireless) as my ISP. There is only one major difference between my desktop and laptop in that the desktop uses Norton whilst the laptop used CA Zone Alarm as virus protection.
Has anyone come across a similar problem?
Thanks
