    Unwanted link in e-mail

I recently deleted two e-mails that left behind an icon that says on it "Powered by Symantec". This is in fact a link to a site www.brightmail.com (this is what it says when I pass the mouse over it). I tried rightclicking but there is no option to remove it or delete it. The email folder is now empty except for this icon. I don't like the idea of this unwanted link sitting on my computer. It there some way to remove it. Thank you.

Where is this link? In Outlook Express? On the Desktop?

If it is within Outlook Express you can clear Outlook Express by deleting the .dbx files.

Go to start > Search > .dbx

You can delete all of these files and Outlook Express will recreate them the next time you open it.

This will Erase All E-mails! So if you have anything to save move it first!

If it is on the Desktop you can try Move On Boot:
