Hello dear D-A-L members, here is my problem

I have another computer that has a problem with the Internet Explorer, it's a version 6....something. Well, I cannot view any website, the status below always shows: "Connecting to site........" and stays there forever. I know my internet is working because I can play CS, all the online games and also Messengers are working too. And also, if you guys know the game CS, when I connect to a server, there will be a welcome screen(MOTD) when you log in, and it doesnt' appear anything either (inside the welcome screen is a webpage)
I tried to restore the windows, but it always appear to fail the restoration.

So please HELP ME OUT!! I am frustrating bcuz of this! Thank you guys!

Have you tried a different browser? FireFox etc.

Is this a new problem? Was IE working previously?

Do you have XP SP2?
