I am having trouble connecting to any web address that I try to connect to using both IE6 and FireFox. My modem connects correctly and is active but I have no response when I insert a web address or when I type the IP address of a particular website.

I am running Windows 2000 and have been running Norton AntVirus software along with Zonealarms Firewall. I have carried out a full sytem scan with Norton and nothing was found.

I have now uninstalled both Norton and Zonealrms.

I have tried to reinstall and repair IE6 with no change and I have restalled Windows too. Nothing has fixed this problem.

I have run numerous Spyware and Adware products and nothing has shown up.

Any advice would be much appreciated as I am getting extremely frustrated with this now!!
