Hello, I am using Firfox as my browser and every so often I lose my internet connection - this has just started today, things were ok previously and I have not downloaded anything new prior to this happening, I can be surfing for a couple of minutes then it just goes off and I get a HOST NOT AVAILABLE message. I have tried a system restore but it had no effect

I'd say it's a problem with your net connection, not your browser Power down your modem or box (which ever you have) - wait 10 mins then turn it back on. I find I have this problem if someone else in my home is downloading big files hogging all the bandwidth.
