Hi! Please bear with me as I am fairly computer illiterate. I am running Windows XP SP2. Certain web pages don't display - I get all the navigation tools etc. but a blank page when downloading is complete. For example this affects my email page, microsoft windows update and also happens on system restore so I can't retrace my steps. I have also noticed that on some pages with "buttons" e.g. "Submit" on online forms, pressing it results in no action. This seems to occur when it is something to do with javascript. This didn't seem to occur after any new hardware installation as my system hasn't been altered since I bought it, but the problem has not always been present. I have run a spyware scan and that is clear. I was running Norton Internet Security, but my attempts to update it run into the above problems. A friend suggested I re-install Windows, but this seemed rather drastic so any simpler suggestions (in words of one syllable please!) would be gratefully received. Many thanks!
