MSN as a home page
I use MSN as my home page. On it's sign in page it asks if you want it to remember both your user name and your password. I always check yes remember. But that doesn't seem to have any effect. Every morning it again asks me for my user name and password. It is really a pain. Is there a way around this????

There are several possibilities here:
Are you shutting down and rebooting?
If so IE might be set to delete Temp files and Cookies on reboot.
IE might also be set to not remember passwords.
Your firewall might be set not to hold cookies.
In IE you can go to > Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Restore Defaults
Also: go to > Tools > Internet Options > Content > Autocomplete and turn on the option to remember usernames and passwords.
If it is your firewall which are you using? Is it set to save cookies?

I should have been more specific. When you sign in MSN gives you the option to remember your user name and password or just your username and you fill in password. Each time I login I check remember both and still it only remembers the username. That's while I thought it was an MSN issue. Generally, I'm using Firefox, but I use IE on occassion. It happens with either browser and both machines I use. I use McAffee firewall on one machine and zone alarm on the other. They do save cookies. I did check my settings and all seemed correct.
It is not a big issue, but since MNS gives you the option it would be nice if it worked.
