I have a laptop running windows xp pro. I picked up something somewhere that my antivirus and no spyware can seem to fix. It started with a program called errorsafe. I think I've partially cleaned it up, but I'm still having the following problem:

Whenever I open Internet Explorer - or click on any link within any site - an additional window opens that gives me a page cannot be displayed page. The info at the bottom while this page is opening is res://c:/WINNT\system32\shdoclc.dll/dnserror.htm.

I've done tons of research and even purchased a couple of programs that claim to fix it, but nothing seems to work. Can anyone help me - please??
