Router plug overheats
Hi -- strange one this. I have a Belkin 7630 router which has worked fine for around two years. Now the internet connection keeps cutting out, and it seems to happen because the router plug gets very hot. The router itself is slightly warm, the plug gets very hot, after about 20 minutes' use. We do have a faster broadband connection than before, but have had that about five months and the problem's only been happening for a few weeks.
Any help or ideas most appreciated - thanks.

Ok so I've got a new fancy plug - and the connection now works. But for how long ? the router itself is getting hot now instead of the plug !

has the router got good airflow, it will get warm

Hi - it does thanks but will bear that in mind and find a way of ensuring more airflow underneath ! Cheers.
