I am having internet trouble trying to join p2p downloads and gaming servers, but my computer signal drops out and my comcast/router combo modem recycles which leaves me with no connection.
Here is the error:
"Your computer was not able to renew its address from the network (from DHCP Server) for the Network Card with address 00123F7AA6B1. Your computer will continue to try to obtain an address on its own from the network address (DHCP) server."
How do I fix it?

Is this a new problem? Were things working OK previously? Any new hardware and or software?
You might try a new Network Card:

with a known-working one. Since you can buy a new NIC for as little as
$10US, this is a good troubleshooting step.
