Internet won't open but Xfire runs
Ok its been awhile since I last posted here. Problems were fixed back then and looking forward to great help again. This time its my internet. IP address reads good, pings work, Xfire works, but for some reason the Internet won't load. I have been tryin to run Nortons live updates. It gets halfway through then hangs up. But it continues running the program but not downloading the updates. It will tell me that Norton couldn't download following updates....and then close program. Xfire runs to the point where I can hook up the headsets and talk to my laptop and my buddy. But I can't access the internet beyond that. Any ideas? Not sure how to do that hijack thing I read earlier.
