I updated to the new version a few days ago and it was a nightmare. Very slow with pages hanging. I tried everything, emptying my cache, deleting cookies, running virus scans etc. Initially I was blaming the windows updates but when I used IE as a test, that was running very fast so I knew it was FF. I have just done a system restore to before the update and now everything's back to normal.

Thanks for the input...guess I'll wait...why screw up a good thing? Unless of course it's pain you're in to. Just had Neal (site moderator) walk me thru a trojan screwing with my connection settings in both Mozilla and IE. I don't feel like restoring XP. Although I have felt like re- formatting and re-installing XP just for spring cleaning!
