Every time I open up a new Netscape window (I know this is IE help, but it seemed best to place here) it stops loading my home page and I get a pop-up message saying "Connecting Through WAN Miniport (PPPOE)...". I close the pop-up window and then it loads the rest of the page and is fine till I either go back to my homepage or open a new window. It started happening after my "friend" opened up MSN for the first time on this computer (he wanted to use multiple accounts on an browser based RPG) and MSN made itself the default internet browser (it even auto replaced my desktop shortcut). I remade Netscape the default, but I get that annoying message. I've screwed around with it for a while, but nothings worked so far.

If this is XP you could try a System Restore to a point prior to this issue:

start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore
