Did you manage to resolve this? I have exactly the same problem. I have followed jephree's instructions but it has not made any difference. Any help from anyone will be greatly appreciated.Originally Posted by rajeshselvam

I have a problem whenever I try to open Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk.
The website does not open and it comes up with the standard Can not Find page. When I do this from any other PC on my network, I have no problem.
I was looking through the previous posts and found the following:
----------------------------------------------------------------
Have you checked your firewall to insure that these sites have not been blocked?
Also try:
In IE select Tools|Internet Options >delete cookies, answer yes >delete files, answer yes. Click Settings|view files.
Also from start/run type: ipconfig /flushdns
----------------------------------------------------------------
This has however not solved the problem. Any further suggestion would be most welcome and greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Can you open it using Firefox?
http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/
These are the only 2 URL's that you have problems with?
Also:
Three things to try:
1. Clear your TIF and History completely:
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm
2. Check your \Cookies folder and delete any cookies that relate to the
sites in question.
3. Check your Hosts file as per this article:
