Help

All of a sudden,nearly every site I try to log on to with a user name comes up with a web site unavailable page.It happens with my bank,lottery,eBay,credit card,Hot Mail etc and I'm completely lost.

Everthing was fine yesterday.

Can anyone please help ??

Have you installed any new programs or changed any security settings? Are you running a good anti virus program?
It wouldnt hurt to go here and run Ewido's scan. http://www.ewido.net/en/onlinescan/run/
If it comes up with anything then you will need to go to this section of the forum http://www.d-a-l.com/help/forumdisplay.php?f=8 , read the notes and post a hijack log.

The secure site problem is usually related to 2 things:

1. You have a software firewall that may be corrupt (ie. NIS, ZoneAlarm, etc).
Do you have one of these?

2. Corrupt IE dll's. You can manually reregister the IE dlls, but there is a cool program that will do it for you, called "dial-a-fix".

Download it here: http://pctherapy.ca/opiate/dial_a_fix/Dial-a-fix.exe

Run it.

Bottom Right, put a checkmark where it says "Explorer/IE/OE/shell/WMP", and then click on GO.

Wait for it to finish (make sure both IE and OE are not open).

Now try your sites (banking, ebay, hotmail, etc).
