    Question Low Disk Space

    specs:
    Dell Dimision DIM2400
    Intel Celeron 2.4 GHz
    256MB RAM
    Windows XP

My girlfriend's computer is 'jacked up.' She is constantly getting low disk space messages and her browser is operating really slow and often times will not connect. We have cleaned out the files upon recieving the low disk space message several times but it always comes back. Not sure what the problem is, however we do utilize Norton, AVG, Spotboy Search & Destroy, Ad-Aware and CWShredder.

    Help?!?!

    Thanks! - Josh

You might want to read the instruction threads here http://www.d-a-l.com/help/forumdisplay.php?f=8 and then post a hijack log in that forum.

start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Defragmenter

I would second Tassie Devil's suggestion to post a HijackThis log in that section.

Please follow the instructions HERE & then post your log in a new thread in the Spyware, Adware, Viruses and HijackThis Logs section.
    (Not in this section please).

I have posted a Hijack This log in another post, however I am not having much luck because the suggested Kapersky scan seems to get stuck and never completes itself.

I attempted to run a defrag, however was unsuccessful because I do not have enough free disk space.

    34.2 GB
    only 254 MB FREE

    Any further suggestions?!?! Thanks!

Can you verify that your drive is that full?

    Start/Run/ diskmgmt.msc

As to the scan please ask the HijackThis Pros. They may have an idea on that.
