Outlook Express has encountered a problem
I cannot access Outlook express and get the message Outlook Express has encountered a problem and needs to close. I have tried following the instructions on Microsoft but it doesn't work and I haven't got a clue how to re-install so can anyone help? Is there a simple solution for a computer novice?

Did this just happen? Were things OK before? If yes you could try a System Restore.

What did you try "following the instructions on Microsoft"?
As a last case scenario:
How to reinstall or repair Internet Explorer and Outlook Express in Windows XP
(which is basically reinstall or install SP2)

Just downloaded windows update and Outlook Express is working again. Thanks for your help greatly appreciated
