weird messages
Heylo there!!i found this site on the net and was wondering if you are able t help me!
I recently downloaded "i-mesh" and "windows media player series 9" i didnt like "i-mesh" so decided to uninstall it. Ever since every time i use the computer for any length of time it either says one of three things "this explore has performed an illegal operation, kernel 32 (something like that), and C++ visual termination. i was wondering if you would be able to help me as my dad is mad about ebay (obcessed) and he cant get onto it.
Thanks for taking you time to read this. I hope to hear a reply soon with good news!!

Hi,
First thing I would do as Imesh installs adware on the PC is to scan with SpyBot and Ad-aware (type in Google) for anything suspicious then also run a Virus scan with an up to date virus scanner...if its clean and still playing up try and give more detail on when you get the messages..is it when your using Internet Explorer only?
-
also what operating system are you running?
-
Hello,
I also am having weird messages on my computer too, its the same thing except when I get on the and for about a couple of minutes this message says
Exporer has caused an error in
~7583836889.TMP
Explorer will now close
If you continue having problems,
try restarting your computer.
Then a the try restaring your computer part the words are cut in half. I found it and deleted it but it still pops up and when that happens everthing closes and it only shows the backround.
If you know anything please tell me.

Follow the advice above re: Adaware and Spybot:
Please download and run the following :
1) SpyBot Search and Destroy
After installing SpyBot Search & Destroy, first press Online, and search for, put a check mark at, and install all updates.
Next, close all Internet Explorer windows, hit 'Check for Problems', have SpyBot remove all the items it marks in red.
2) Ad-Aware
After installing Ad-Aware, and before running the program, first press “check for updates now".
Click "Connect" and install all updated components available. Click 'Finish'.
Press "Scan Now", then 'next', and let Ad-Aware scan your drives.
It will find a number of "bad" files and registry keys. Click 'Next' again.
Check all found items, and click 'next' once more.
It will ask you whether you'd like to remove all checked items. Click OK.
Always reboot the computer between each program - both of these may find things that they need to have a reboot of the machine to clear - please reboot and let them finish.
If that doesn't help follow these instructions:
Please post a HijackThis log to the forum.
Launch HijackThis, then press Scan, and press Save Log.
This will generate a text file that will list all running processes, all applications that are loaded automatically when you start Windows, and more.
Open that file.
Go to Edit | Select all
Now click Edit | copy to copy it.
Do not change anything just yet.
Come back to the forum, Right Click and paste its contents here.

AHH!!! I'm very sorry i forgot to paste it on to here because when it was scanning the thing popped up, so i got carried away and started fixing them.
. . . It sort of helped the computer but it deleted a whole lot of junk from the internet.
-
Hello ,I too am having the same kind of problem, but my windows that pop-up say"Run.dll32 has caused an error in AUTXRRXY.DLL(or AWTXRRXY.DLL,or IHFRARED.DLL,or just plain RUNDLL32),then it willclose I.E. & my Windows system down & I'm left with only a screen.I had a really hard time getting to the internet to read my mail last night. I finally would just move the window aside(that's what I'm doing now!) &go on about my biz.
I did everything that you(Nirvana) suggested EXCEPT I didn't have spybot remove the files yet because some of them in the red are registry key files .Aren't these important? I'm pretty lame when it comes to the configurations in the computer. Please let me know also what to do! Thanks for all your help,I really appreciate it!

Have Spybot fix the entries in red, those registry keys have been put there by something malicious, then follow my instructions to post a HijackThis log.
