Hi Guys,

I have been looking through the registry and found loads of entries in:

My Computer/HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Internet Settings/ZoneMap/Domains

Some scary looking entries but i wondered - 1. what they all are? and 2. can i delete them all?

I'd be interested in learning a bit more about the registry, but one thing I can tell you while we wait for the real experts (I'm just an imposter) is - if you don't know what it is, DON'T play with it.

There's a lot of ballast in the registry, but deleting things you don't understand is the easiest way of screwing your machine up.

Even when you do know what you're doing, NEVER edit the registry unless you've made a backup, then if it all goes wrong you can (probably) boot into safe mode and put it back the way it was.
