    IE to open new browser

before xp there was a setting in ie to open a new browser for each link clicked in a open web site or an email link. I cannot for the life of me finds it

example, I'm here posting a message, open my email and click on a link. This page changes to that link. I want IE to open a new browser for that link and to leave this one alone. is this still possible? TIA

    Two things to test:

Look in IE6 Tools|Internet Options|Advanced and see if you have
"Reuse windows for launching shortcuts"-ON checked. If so, then either
uncheck it, or make a habit of using SHIFT when you click on a shortcut in
order to have it open in a separate, new window.

Or right click the link & choose "Open in new window".

    Do these options work?

    Also:
    1. Click Start, and then click Run.
    2. In the Open box, type:
    regsvr32 urlmon.dll
    3. Click OK, and then click OK again when you receive the following message:
    DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded.

Another posibility is the need to reload: oleaut32.dll
