Aol Will Not Open!
When I launch AOL 9.0 I get the following message:AOL will now install the files required for you to connect to the service. Click yes to install these files. You may be asked to restart your computer;otherwise, you will not be able to connect.
The choices are YES or NO. After clicking yes a installing box appears in the bottom right corner displaying the precentage installing. After it has installed the aol loading box disapears and then nothing else happenends.
PLEASE HELP i have aol brodband.

go to start>controll panel click add/remove programs, go down to ACS or "AOL Connectivity Service, click remove and when a box comes up with 2 or 3 options, chose "repair" when its done, restart and try again,
Let me know if it works
NOTE: you will have to configure aol to use your broadband modem (should take you to the screen when you try to connect, just follow the simple steps)

try this: click
start,

go to startup and click aol 9 tray icon, see if it comes on then
-
Sorry there isnt a aol icon in startup. Andrew
-
ok, click start>search click on all files and folders (for win xp) or files on my computer (for other)
type in aol tray double click on AOL tray icon and it should come up, if not
click start>run and type in "msconfig" go to the startup tab and check the box that says aol 9 tray icon DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING ELSE
You will need to restart your computer, after that, right click the aol tray icon and click start aol dialler, use your aol screen name and password to log on, see if this works.
if it is not there, click the arrow (<) if there is one
