Error message every time when closing IE
Hi there, first of all i'd just like to say sorry if there is already a thread on this, but i couldn't be bothered looking through pages of forum threads!
My problem is that everytime I close internet explorer I get the error message that says:
"Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconveniece.......blah blah." and then gives u the option to send an error message.
Now this is not a major problem, until a have multiple windows open and i only want to close one, so when i close one, they all close due to the error.
Can anyone help me with this?

A full error message would help us help you. Those errors usually show faulting issues.
Do you mean that every time you close a particular window in IE they all close?
Does this happen with every window? Does this happen all the time?
Also when you send the message to MS what is the response?
Is this a new problem? Were things working OK before?
Also do you use spyware & virus scans? AdAware? Spybot S&D? etc.

OK here's the complete error message:
"Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
If you were in the middle of something the information you were working on may be lost.
Please tell microsoft about this problem.
We created an error report that you can send to us to improve Internet Explorer. We will treat this report as confidential and anonymous.
To see what the data report contains click here."
Then u can click to see the details of the report which is a whole big lot of numbers and things. I can't copy it so it would take me too long to write it all out.
And yes i mean that everytime I close a single IE window the error message appears and they all close.
Yes this happens every time without fail.
This is a new problem and just started happening about 2 or 3 days ago. And when i send the error report to microsoft, they dont reply. I think its just a way of them to colate data on the types of errors that are happening.

Error reporting:

Sorry that I forgot to ask your Operating System but if applicable:
I would try a System Restore to a date prior to the problem.
Next I would run sfc /scannow or sfc.exe depending on system.

Also perhaps consider:
Please follow the instructions HERE & then post your log in a new thread in the Spyware, Adware, Viruses and HijackThis Logs section.
(Not in this section please).
