Hey everyone,
I'm having a problem with my internet explorer. When I try to load it in any way(quick start at bottom, desktop, or start menu), the curser does the loading thing and then nothing happens. I go into task manager and it shows it running, along with many other iexplorers running (around 5 more and I don't know why?), but nothing is on the desktop. I did a scan and I had the trojan virus so I deleted it and I don't know how to fix the internet explorer now. I can browse the internet by opening any file and then using the address bar in that. But I don't know what else to do.

try a spyware scan by downloading Lavasoft Ad-aware
run it and delete anything bad that it finds.
Then, follow owen's instructions here and here and then post a hijack this log in the Spyware, Adware, Viruses and HijackThis Logs section (NOT HERE). Please let me know if this helps,

ok, well im going now i have to get up early 2morrow ill be on sometime tomorrow

I can't open links now so i'm just going to format and then re-install because i've transfered everything I wanted off of the computer to my laptop. Thanks a lot for your help. It probably would have worked but I can't get it to work. Thans
