I am using internet explorer and windows xp, had some problems with pop ups, installed adaware se and about a week later iexplorer only works the first time after computer has been switched on. Tried to remove iexplorer but wasn't listed in ad/remove programs(neither is most of my software), tried registry repair software & antivirus software AVG but without any success. I can access internet through windows explorer "search the net". When I try to shut down 'iexplorer.exe still running'message appears and i have to end task several times to shut computer.
