My Windows 2000 pc would not connect to the internet via IE 6 today. It says it cannot find server or DNS Error. IE also was showing a message at the bottom while it tired to connect, c:\winnt system32 shdoclc.dll/dnserror.htm... I tried PConPoint and PCRescue (free versions) which said they cleaned up some errors, but IE still does not work. I also tried Control Panel --> add/remove and selected REPAIR but it still will not work after rebooting. Any insights and ideas are much appreciated.
