Internet explorer doesn't open
I've got internet connection but the Internet explorer doesn't open. Only the msn explorer opens. And also the programme is missing from add/remove programmes. I also tried to download the latest internet explorer but it says its already been installed into my system. What to do?

Did Internet Explorer stop working when you installed MSN Explorer? What is MSN Explorer anyway? I thought it was a new browser that made Internet Explorer redundant. Maybe it removed IE (apart from the icon) when you installed MSN Explorer.
What version of Windows are you running?

someone please correct me if im wrong, but msn explorer is internet explorer but its just so that the whole branding is welll, msn!! try uninstalling msn explorer via CONTROL PANEL>ADD REMOVE PROGRAMS> ADD/REMKOVE WINDOWS COMPONENTS. uninstall it, restart, and then click on the internet explorer icon and see what happens.

Try changing the default applications to view HTML pages. If you are on WIN98 you can press <SHIFT> + right click and select "Open With" and select Internet Explorer. also check the box which says always use this program to view this file type.
on XP there is something called setting up of default paths and I dont really remember offhand where it is.
