ok, last time I had the problem with the search page popping up every time I tried to go to a site I downloaded all that stuff and it helped. Now, the thing seems to be stuck as my homepage, and try as I might I can't switch it. And I can't acess any web pages it just gives me the message:"cannot find blah blah, specify path or adress." Any idea what I should do?

Please post a HijackThis log to the forum.
Launch HijackThis, then press Scan, and press Save Log.
This will generate a text file that will list all running processes, all applications that are loaded automatically when you start Windows, and more.
Open that file.
Go to Edit | Select all
Now click Edit | copy to copy it.
Do not change anything just yet.
Come back to the forum, Right Click and paste its contents here.

Yea, sorry about this but I can't get to ANYTHING on the internet, it just brings up that stupid search engine every time. I can't even click that link to the hijack this, it just brings up the search engine again. I got to this site by typing it in in microsoft word, it created a link and I clicked it
