Internet Explorer and Lineone (Tiscali) registration page
Hi everyone, can anyone help me with the following problem.
I recently formatted my hard-drive due to ongoing conflicts etc....and with the restore disc's i received with my PC i put the PC back to factory settings, everything is working ok except for Internet Explorer.
When i double click the IE icon on the desktop i get the Lineone registration page and not IE.
I cannot get away from this page without clicking Ctrl-Alt-Del and cannot access IE in any other way.
Any ideas on this one would be grateful.
I presently use AOL BB for internet access but prefer IE for browsing.

Who is your ISP Provider?

Hi Janee
My ISP is AOL and i am on their 512 broadband service, but i am not keen on the AOL browser so i like to use Internet Explorer instead, it's has much less cluttered pages.
However, since i first posted my problem i seem to have fixed it....here goes.
I went to the folder Program Files-Internet Explorer and in there was another folder called ISP SIGNUP. I decided to delete some of the files ( maybe not the best thing to do ) relating directly to Signup, and after a reboot and logging back on with AOL i am now able to access Internet Explorer.
I realise this was probably not the best course of action but everything is running fine and PC is stable.
If anyone can help me with a less drastic solution i would love to hear from you.
