i cant read or delete any emails that are in accounts other than the one i have with microsoft outlook, it also wont let me delete them so the accounts are on the breech of being closed down . this is becoming really annoying as i have children that cant read their emails, one of which is needed for replies from universities regarding important information.
please help

can you actually get to the inbox of these accounts? do you mean accounts, as in Hotmail, Yahoo etc?

i mean other accounts on freeserve, hotmail etc, i can get into the inbox, but cant open any of the emails or even just delete them

Im not sure I understand exactly what your saying the problem is. I get that you cant read emails and I think your saying the free ones ie hotmail.

I think you might have a main account on freeserve whch you are accessng through Outlook express which you say is working properly. In basic terms this means your connection is fine to freeserve and all your POP3 settings are working.

Free Accounts like hotmail or yahoo are an entity to themselves. Generally you go to the websites to collect the mail or access it through either messenger service.
If the problem is with these accounts it may be that your computer is freezing? you have a virus? If that is the case the next best thing you can do us download your email from hotmail into your outlook express. To do this you will need your log in details and the pop settings. Go to tools and accounts in outlook express and make a new email connection.

Im probably waffling but as I said earlier I wasnt sure exactly what was happening.
If non of the above helps your situations, perhaps you can reply with a few more details like a break down of how your trying to obtain your mail.
