For some reason firefox just hangs when I try to load a webpage. (this has been happening since the day before yesterday with all the router problems) At that time IE worked okay but now even that won't work. Well it will eventually but it's like being back on dial up. I have been on the netgear forums but I couldn't find anything relevant.

Perhaps these tests might reveal something

For some reason it's okay today, but I am the only one logged on to the network at the moment. I have ran owen's speeding up tips and now it's faster than ever. The test will be when everyone else logs on later.

Is stephen still hosting that site??

It's just an intranet for our homepages that is hosted on his pc. It will just be a calendar so we all know what everyone is doing on a certain date.

I know but something is, no idea what though. It makes me think it's the router because it's taking about 10 seconds to load a webpage and now no one can see my picture on messenger and no one can view my webcam. The trouble is I can't figure out how to find out if it is the router.
