IE problems
I have latest version of IE 6 and I was running Norton Internet Security until something killed it! I then received several viruses (trojans) etc. I seem to have successfully removed most things using spybot etc. Trouble is IE still does not work properly. I can not view lots of sites, I just get a blank page with done at the bottom. Especially secure ones AND Microsoft Updates. Removed XP SP2 to reinstall to see if it helped but of course I can not reinstall it now!! The find and print options do not work, greyed out and if you choose help, about, the version details are all blank. Tried removing/reinstalling IE to no avail. Anyone any ideas, this is getting rather annoying.
Cheers
Sue

Download from: http://windowsxp.mvps.org/IEFIX.htm
Internet Explorer Fix - is a general purpose repair utility for Internet Explorer which repairs Internet Explorer by registering it's core DLL files and through the INF file. Additionally if it detects Windows 2000/XP as the Operating System, it runs SFC to restore missing or corrupt Windows system files. Fixing the COM registration helps in many cases.
