    How to detect port

    Hello,
    On one system yahoo messenger is running ,that system is in network i have access to it ,but messeneger is not wroking on my system ,now without accessing that system how can i know port on which yahoo messenefer is running
    pls any onje can help me

    Yahoo Messenger uses port 5050 by default. If it can't use that, it tries port 80 (standard Internet HTTP port). After that, it allegedly tries any other port! This page may give you more assistance if you need it:
