    Web pages text to BIG!

    Howdy all,
    On some websites I visit the text is too big and some input boxex overlap and are completly unviewable, I've tried changin the text size in view and refreshing but to no avail, any ideas? I'm sure it's just a setting in XP somewhere but where?
    Thanks in advance Steve

    'fraid not it just makes the huge unreadable text into really big unreadable text!

    It's funny because some sites I use look different on the computer in question rather than my own which looks fine (that includes this site, the background colours are different its alot more 'plain' looking)

    one of the sites which I know that looks wierd;

    www.philips.co.uk

    I will get in touch with the person who owns said computer ands ask them to grab a screen ( can I post pics?)

    One last thing: Is there a way to reset IE settings to default without losing favourites etc.?
    Maybe that would do it. Everyone loves playing with settings and often forget what they've changed We've all done it!

    Haven't we?

    Thanks again Steve

    I've found the answer!

    So for anyone who has a similar problem:
    In control panel go to accessibility options,
    and there is a tick box that says 'high contrast mode for easy reading'.
    This was checked and was causing the massive text on certain web pages. I found this out because msn messenger wouldn't allow me to use a background because the PC was in high contrast mode. It sorted the big text and some sites looking a bit wierd aswell.
    Thanks for all the sugestions
