Have recently installed Broadband, which may or may not be coincidental, but I've noticed that attachments sent to me in Outlook Express from bone fide contacts, cannot be accessed. In the attachment dropdown menu, the attached files are in light grey.

Could this be someting to do with my Broadband connection or a Firewall issue? I cannot see where I may have changed anything in my settings, so I am baffled and would be grateful for some suggestions, please.

Start Outlook Express.
On the Tools menu, click Options.
Click the Security tab, click to clear the Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus check box under Virus Protection, and then click OK.
