how to ... save a password (i did not want to save)

the first time i logged in "that" site and IE prompted me if i wanted to "save [the username and] the password" i replyed "NO"

Now i would like to save [the username and] the password for "that" site but i do not work out how to make IE to prompt me again.

i know that if i change username then IE will prompt me again, but i CANNOT change username

i suppose (but not sure) that if i delete all password (tools>Option>content>auto completion>delete password) then IE would prompt me again, BUT i do not want to delete ALL password

    if you can help me
    thanks

If you go to the AutoComplete settings (Tools> Internet Options> Content and click Autocomplete), is there a checkmark in the box that says Prompt me to save passwords? If not, put one in and click Ok.

Thanks Owen, i already did it. It was ceckmarked. I even tried to uncek it, close all, open all, and cekmark it again. But with no results.

The problem is that somewhere (but where?) IE recorded i once choosed to not save the password for that site and username. And now it remember it and does not ask me again to save the password.

    thanks again

Save 20% on AVG Internet Security 2012 Suite!
    Yehaa! I worked it out.
    Not very technical, indeed.
But it has been enought to add a space after the user-name-i-cnnot-modify.
The web-site software considered it without the space. But IE, thinking the user name was different, asked me if i wanted to save user&password.
    Thanks again,
