Problem using OUTLOOK
I have a problem using OUTLOOK.
All works fine, I can send and receive but if I try to send by using the reply function ,I get an error message asking me to check the email address I am sending to.
If I use OUTLOOK EXPRESS the reply function works ok.
Any ideas please

welcome to d-a-l online computer help could you please tel me the exact wording of the error message please so i can see what is going on or even better could you please take a screen print and paste it on to this thread thanks for your cooperation

Could you also advise us whether this problem only occurs when replying to one person or whether it happens whenever you try to reply to anyone? Thanks.

Hi. The message below is what I get.
Task ‘VirginiaBT – Sending and Receiving’ reported error (0x800CCC78): ‘Unable to send the message. Please verify the e-mail address in your account properties. The server responded: ? 0 authentication required – for help go to http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/pop/pop-11.html’
The problem only happens in Outlook and happens whenever I try to send an email to anyone by using the reply button. The "include message in reply box" can be ticked or not ticked with the same effect.

Hi. The page you directed me to suggests that the SMTP server that I use for outgoing mail is incorrect. I use the SMTP server supplied by my ISP which I know works as I can send emails using the normal "create mail" button.
