My children can't log on(internet) under their screen name unless I make they're account -administrator?

could we please have some more info? eg windows version,internet type?(cable dial up) if your admin? or shared pc etc.

Cable is an always on connection, there shouldn't be a need to logon to the internet. Perhaps you could give us a little more information and then maybe someone here will be able to help. What account is it they are trying to logon to? Their Windows XP user account or something else?

When trying to access the internet.It wont go to url unless I've chosen theyre account as admin.

Have you tried creating new accounts?

I deleted my sons old account and started a new one.
Same thing happens.For some reason it tries to use a "search for it" url and I set it up for comcast home.?(connections) Then it displays a "could not be found" or connect or something like that

What accounts are you trying to set up?

Windows? Comcast?

What does this mean: "I set it up for comcast home.?(connections)"

Your Comcast account should be set for everyone. It is a basic connection to an ISP.

User accounts are accessed thru XP:

Try options thru: Start > Control panel > User Accounts

Change an account ...etc...

Or create new accounts.
