Can any body help, every time I try and get into Ebay the page comes up asking me to refresh or check my internet settings I have done this but no joy. some times the search address comes up with double click in it. I have even formatted and re-installed xp this worked for a day but then the same problem came back. i have tryed various spyware and virus programmes but the problem just keeps coming back. And the wife keeps on nagging me to get it sorted.

hehehe everybody likes ebay!! even your wife! it doesnt sound like itl be some sort of spyware of virus if you just formatted ( btw which drive did you format??) what ebay are you trying to get on? the uk version or usa? have you make sure your internet isnt letting the cookies etc? another that has helped with me on other sites it to search something on google that might get you onto ebay , like try searching "diesel beanie" on google and the third one down is a link to ebay, this may get you onto ebay,

Thanks but I have tryed all of these things, I only have one hard drive and its the english ebay i can`t get into the american one has no problems. I tryed going through google and yahoo but no joy. and i have various anti viruses software ect. any more ideas

has your aniti virus software blocked them? you might be able to find out by going into the control panel of the software/firewall

what do you mean cant get into ebay. log in, or view the actual site?

he means he cant get onto the site atall, btw are you using internet explorer?

i cant get to windowsupdate,windoes.com,ebay,windowsmedia and microsoft sites can u help?
