I'm running windows xp home on a Thinkpad T400. I did a system update yesterday and after that when it restarted my screen resolution and color settings are very low and I can't change them. Also, I can't get online or puul up any files. I've tried system restore to no avail. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

Do you have a recovery disc that came with the laptop when you brought it?

If so try that and see if you can restore it to factory defaults.
