Hello there, I'm just seeking confirmation from someone that my laptop battery rather than my laptop power adapter needs changing. The laptop is not charging with the battery in and does not turn on anymore, but when I take the battery out of the laptop it turns on again and the power is getting through. Is this pretty much proof that it is a faulty battery rather than a faulty charger?

It is not 100% conclusive, but pretty close. There is still a slim possibility it is something in the charging circuits inside the notebook - but if me, I would probably go for a new battery.
