My brother ordered it from a website. Considering he knows just enough to turn on and shut down a computer I did spend some time on ensuring that this screen is compatible. I had thought that perhaps the screen itself may be bad, but I wanted to look at all other possibilities first. I will see about getting this screen RMA'd. Thank you for all of the responses.

I have double and triple checked, this lcd is the correct one. I will be contacting the company it was purchased from to see about a replacement.
