I recently bought a pc on ebay and it was working fine for about a week, sometimes it said 'no signal' so i was forced to turn it off as there was nothing else i could do. Now whenever i turn it on the monitor reads 'no signal'. Also the computer does not beep aswell. All my fans work when i turn it on and i have tried switching the ram around, and removing it, but still i get no beep and no signal. Any help please? i just really hope its not the motherboard.

From your description, you may have a failing motherboard. (No beep.)

Is this a proprietary machine? (ie; Brand_Name - Gateway, Dell, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Lenovo, Compaq, eMachine, etc.)

If it is, please post the Make, and the exact Model Number. If there is a Service Tag, post this info as well.

If the machine is a custom built Desktop, what is the Make, Model, and Rev. of the motherboard?
