Does anyone know where I can get an Acer Aspire 5630 CMOS battery? Really struggling to find one. Even my local technician couldn't find one. Can anyone help, please? I'm near London/South East England if that helps

Li-ion batteries are charged in three stages, constant current, constant voltage and top-off charge. The current value is arbitrary, and it determines the duration of the charge, the temperature, as well as the point in time when the max voltage will be reached. Too high currents will cause corrosion by making the battery reach overly high voltages.

I am, however, not looking for a Li-ion battery but a CMOS battery - the internal battery that either plugs in, or in this case, is soldered onto the motherboard and is responsible for the running of the clock etc. As they are normally outlive laptops, they are notoriously hard to source. Id be grateful for any other ideas?
