I'm fixing a friends laptrop, and have recovered al the drivers for the computer, even the network adapter driver that i need to access the internet and install updates, but no, instead the driver for the internet cannot start, I've done everything I know and that I can find to repair it, I even used a recommended registry cleaner, that froze on startup and killed my other computer to constantly re-installing.

The problem is I have no idea why it won't get fixed, and I don't think it is fault hardware as it worked before I had to format the computer (the computer had viruses, I couldn't back up the dirvers).

Any help would be appreciated.

Could you go to device manager. There make a note of anything that has a
yellow exclamation mark beside it and list it here.
OR give us a screen shot of device manager.
But more importantly could you give us the make and model number of the Laptop.

Thanks for the reply, but I managed to fix it, the site i got the driver off also hosted multiple versions of the driver, so I tried a different one and it worked.
