HP 9050 printer proglem
Hi,
The HP 9050 printer in my office suddenly refuses to pick up paper from any tray set to print letter headed or preprinted paper. It will skip the tray and only pick paper from any of the other trays that are set to print on plain paper. If I set all the trays to letterhead or pre-printed paper it will not print, but instead ask me to load the "correct" paper" in tray 1.
Can anybody help me with this problem???
Thanks

Hi Chris,
I know it's been a while but have you still got this problem? It sounds to me like the application doing the printing (e.g. Word, Internet Explorer, etc) or the Windows printer driver is specifically set to use "Plain" paper rather than "Auto". So changing that setting ought to fix it. Alternatively, changing the settings on the printer itself to tell it that the tray contains plain paper even if it's a letterhead should also trick it into working, although that may have undesirable effects if every page is then printed to a random tray rather than one that genuinely contains the appropriate type of paper!

Sorry for taking so long to reply. Problem was with the settings on the computer. It's since been sorted out. Thank you
