i am planing to buy either the Nvidia 9500GT or the Sapphire 4670...
i am more inclined towards the sapphire card but i am worried whether it will be compatible with my Gigabyte Mobo and Intel Chipset......
so my question is
"Does the ati graphic cards have any compatibility issues with Gigabyte Motherboard and/or a Intel chipset ???"


the following are the exact specs of my computer....
Gigabyte....G31M-SL2
Intel Pentium Dual core

(P.S-My mobo supports DDR2 while the sapphire 4670 is a DDR3 gpu ..so will this cause any issues ????)

As long as your card uses the PCIe interface, it will work with the Gigabyte board. Just make sure your PSU can handle the extra demands of a new graphics card.

The RAM type on the motherboard has nothing to do with the RAM type on the graphics card.
