Hello, this computer is running XP pro 32bit. Its actually my daughter's computer and here IDE cd/dvd burner stop working so, I got her a SATA one (which the MB has one open slot for another drive. Her HD is on 1 and so, when I installed it on the other one slot the computer is acting like its a HD and and will not boot. I have done this many times before with no problems. So, I disconnect the burner and now it starts. I have looked in BIOS but I don't see anything on why the computer is not recognizing it as a CD/DVD drive. Any reason why this is happening?
