Routers Blocking Site(s)?
Routers Blocking Internet Site(s)
Ok, so I I have used 3 routers to test this problem(not all at the same time lol).
and it happens on ALL of them the 3 Routers Involved are.
Dlink DI-524 (H/W Ver :C1)
Linksys BEFW11S4 Ver.2
Belkin Model # F5D5231-4 Ver.1103
So here's the Issue. I know its some thing to do with the routers.
How do I know its the routers? There are 2 reasons that leave me
With this conclusion..
1) If I unplug them, And Plug my computer Directly into the Cable
modem, The Site loads perfectly. So we can rule out ISP. If it was
ISP, The Site would still be blocked.
2) After connecting the Router the site will load 1 time and then clicking
On any link will result in the page not found Error. If i enter the
Router settings, and do a Factory Reset, Im able to access the page
1 time before its blocked again.
Now... Iv tried turning off the Firewalls, Iv tried Removing any and all
Passwords and security. Its as open as the sky... But nothing works.
Some thing, some where in these routers is Blocking my connection to
the website, and in doing so blocking my connection to my email.
For example.
When I enter a cmd line and type "ping *ht tp:// www*echothefaith*com" the
Following information is returned to me.

again, iv also tested this on my next door neighbors net, and that site loads up fine.
So, ruling out ISP, Ruling out the site has issues. im left with 3 routers that are telling me no. lol im in a boat with no paddle
Also sorry about the *, but it wouldnt let me post this with out using them. if you need to test any thing just replace the * with .
