My acer extansa laptop has a TSST corp CDDVDW TS-L632H drive which will not write cd's from itunes. A quick google search shows that for whatever reason the firmeware is not compatible with itunes.

Typically Apple & Acer have no interest, which is understandable, and i cant find a solution. Other brands (hp in particular) have written a firmware update to resolve the issue.

Any suggestions would be most welcome.
